On the 29th of August the session of the Board on special economic zones and special mode of investment activity in Donetsk area took place. At the session there were considered and approved seven new investment projects on Joint-Stock Company of Closed Type "Novokramatorsky machine-building plant", Limited Liability Partnership "Donetsk gas and electrical household equipment works", Joint-Stock Company of Closed Type "Yuzhnooktyabrskie glini "Yug" (Slavyansk), Limited Liability Partnership "Donkarton" (Donetsk), Stock company of a closed type "Zhdanovkaugol" (Kirov), private enterprise "Nedra -91" (Donetsk) and Joint-Stock Company of Closed Type "Kramatorsky pivzavod" on a total sum 20,81 mln USD and their budgetary payments exceed the sum of the granted privileges to the amount of 132 mln GRN.

    It should be noted that at the Joint-Stock Company of Closed Type "Novokramatorsky machine-building Plant" with the cost of the project - 6 876 thousand USD, 950 jobs with monthly average wages 2,410 GRN are to remain at the expense of the enterprise own means. Due to the realization of this investment project, the volume of production will increase 331,5 mln. GRN annually. The other enterprises will create 974 new jobs with monthly wages ranging from 480 up to 1400 GRN. The enterprises are supposed to get the first profit not later than the 4-th quarter of 2003.

    Limited Liability Partnership "Donetsk gas and electrical household equipment works" under the project is going to make products to the sum of 105 mln GRN. per year. The source of investments - the credit given by Prominvestbank (3,147 mlnUSD) and also the own means of the enterprise (634 mlnUSD).

    The volumes of manufacture in Joint-Stock Company of Closed Type "Yuzhnooktyabrski glini"Yug" (Slavyansk) under the project will amount to 40 thousand tons per year, the investors of the project - "WBB International Holding B.V." (Netherlands), Joint-Stock Company of Closed Type II "А/Т Glini Donbassa" and Joint-Stock Company of Closed Type "Yuzhnooktyabrski glini" Yug" (Slavyansk) in equal shares - 1, 013 mln USD.

    The project on cardboard manufacture, 6,44 mln square meters per year, in Limited Liability Partnership "Donkarton" (Donetsk) has received investments due to the contributions to the authorized fund made by the Polish part in volume of 1,65 mln. USD and by Ukrainian part - 706,3 thousand USD.

    The annual production of 173 thousand tons of coal per year on a stock company of a closed type "Zhdanovkaugol" (Kirov) will be provided by the investment project the cost of which is 11,9 mln GRN. The project is to be realized thanks to the issue of shares with their subsequent redemption by SIA "Sekmigas investicijas" firm (Latvia). According to the project there will be created 400 new jobs in seven lavas of Layer m₃.

    The investment project of "Nedra-91" private enterprise (Donetsk) with the cost - 1,5 mln USD provides creation of a fish processing enterprise in Donetsk with the volume of production 3,56 thousand tons per year. 100 new jobs will be created.

    Joint-Stock Company of Closed Type "Kramatorsky pivzavod" at the expense of the credit 1 mln USD "Ukrecsimbank" will increase the volume of production on 6,2 thousand tons per year.

    Besides solutions on new investment projects, the Board on Special Economic Zones increased the sums regarding the projects approved earlier: joint-stock company "Nord" - 1,58 mln USD and hotel complex construction "Victoria" - 2 mln USD.
