From 20th till 26th of August in Kiev there was a jubilee exhibition "Ukraine. Ten Years of Independence". The days of the regions, presentations of the investment opportunities of the regions, press-conferences were planned according to the program of the exhibition.

At the exhibition Donetsk region was represented by the cities and regions, enterprises that carry out investment projects in the network of the Law of Ukraine "About Special Economic Zones and Special Mode of Investment Activity in Donetsk Region".

The series of business meetings were held in the network of the exhibition. The participants of these meetings discussed a lot of important questions including the bilateral cooperation among the regions of Ukraine, creation of favorable conditions for successful work of the region's enterprises with home and foreign investments.

At the exhibition a number of the enterprises of Donetsk region have signed profitable contractsand found reliable partners. Investment attraction of the enterprises and territories in Donetsk region is determined mostly by the operation of the Law of Ukraine "About Special Economic Zones and Special Mode of Investment Activity in Donetsk Region". Up to the present day the Board on special Economic Zones in Donetsk has approved for implementation 135 investment projects to the sum of over 1 bln. USD.
