The second International "Trade-club" guest session took place in Donetsk region from 1 till 2 June. It is the second time when this outstanding organization left home and visited Donetsk. The aim of this club is to introduce foreign diplomats with the economic potential of the possible partners. This time the region was visited by 33 representatives of embassies from 25 countries, including: Japan, France, Finland, Israel, Egypt, Great Britain, Germany, Hungary and other countries of CIS. They began the introduction with Donetsk region with a visiting SEZ "Azov" in Mariupol, Ltd. "Cargill" in Donetsk.The latter plant is the leading enterprise working in a special investment basis. They were also showed the work of OSC (open stock corporation) Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant (Kramatorsk), OSC "Concern" Stirol " (Gorlovka) which are the leaders of Donetsk industry. In the course of the plenary meeting, in which the officials of municipal administration bodies took place, the vice-chairman of the regional state administration Andrew Kluev underlined that since the first "Trade Club" arrival in Donetsk in 1996 there have been found interesting decisions of foreign economy character, the growth of gross domestic product is fixed, the flow of investment has been increased. The Secretary of the Board for Special Economic Zones Viktor Pismak explained the guests how the preferential investment treatment works. He also showed the results achieved in the work aimed to draw foreign investments. The president of "Trade - club "Bertalan Sentpetery expressed the foreign guests' common opinion that Donetsk region, with regard to foreign investment, is rather attractive. the local administration bodies managed to create favorable conditions for foreign capital function. The successful work of such famous companies as "Cargill", "Uniliver" and other proves it. During the "round table" the officials of the economic enterprises of the region, bankers had an opportunity to exchange the information with the representatives of those countries which are, in view of the real prospects in economic potential increase, worth collaboration with. |
