From 5th April to 7th April, the Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Finland in Ukraine Mr. Martty Isoario and Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Sweden in Ukraine the Dr. loran Yakobson were in the Donetsk region.

The program of their stay in the region of Donetsk included meetings with regional state management, the urban head of Donetsk V. V. Ribak, acquaintance with industrial potential of the region, and a visit to the State University.

During the meeting with the vice-president of regional state management Mr. A. P. Kluev, the Scandinavian diplomats were especially interested in functioning in the region the Law of Ukraine " About special economic zones and special regime of investment activity in the Donetsk region ". In their opinion, the necessary conditions for work of the foreign investors are created in the Donetsk region, and the Donetsk region looks very attractive for economic cooperation.
